For Dreamweaver's freak, don't let the bug of Dreamweaver 8 disturb your work. Now Macromedia has release updater Dreamweaver 8.0.2 to screw out the bugs. I have patch this updater 8.0.2 in my PC, and the result is quite faster than before esspecialy when I move from other file into other file. It is better from updater 8.0.1 but it is better than better since Macromedia release 8.02. So guys patch your Macromedia 8 Soon, It's Free anyway.

The Macromedia Dreamweaver 8 (8.0.2) update includes all of the fixes in the 8.0.1 update. If you haven’t installed the 8.0.1 update yet, simply install the 8.0.2 update to get all the fixes for both updates.

Also make sure the language version of the updater matches the language version of your copy of Dreamweaver. For example, you can't use the English updater with a non-English version of Dreamweaver.

Note: If you press Cancel during the installation process in Windows, you will no longer be able to update Dreamweaver. To update to 8.0.2, you will need to uninstall and re-install Dreamweaver. For more information, please see Tech Note 785362aa at www.adobe.com/go/785362aa.

If you installed Dreamweaver 8 from a CD, you will be prompted to insert the CD when running the 8.0.2 updater. If you no longer have the CD, you can try the following workaround:

1. Download the Dreamweaver trial version installer from the Dreamweaver website.
2. Launch it.
3. Once the Welcome dialog box appears, browse to C:\WINDOWS\Downloaded Installations\Macromedia Dreamweaver 8.
4. Copy the msi installer to the desktop (or anywhere).
5. Quit the trial installer.
6. Launch the 8.0.2 updater.
7. When prompted for the original CD, click the Browse button and select the msi from step 4.
8. Finish the installation.
